New in June

Richard-

Landed a new job at The Colony. A beach resort on Longboat Key. He is on pool deck watch- and rents Hobie cats to the visitors. This coming weekend is the Fourth of July celebration at DeSoto. Which means their annual Crash-o-Roma. Campbell County is entering once again, and Richard will be driving a 4 cylinder car for the races. His 23rd birthday is coming up at the end of July. We will be celebrating the first weekend in August. Let's not jump too far ahead. Here are a few pictures of New Years Eve Crash-O-Roma 07 and New Years Eve Crash-O-Roma 06.

Ashley-

I am proud to say that June 30 will be my first day of school. I have joined the band wagon and I am taking classes on line. My goal is to not only become more educated and open doors to many things, but to also prove to myself that I can achieve goals even with a baby, house payment, and new husband. Working online will give me a chance to keep my full time job, and take care of Brooke. I will be working towards an associates degree in business for now, then proceeding towards a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality/ Travel/Tourism. I know it will take some time but in the long run it will be great.

Brooke In June!

Soon to be seven months old, our little Brooke is growing so fast.

Little 'Must Knows'

Crawling- Not yet, but she army scoots, and turns in circles!

Sitting up- YES! But the only draw back is when we go to change her clothes/diaper, she tries and sits up. No more lying down for this go-get-er.

Splashing- She loves the bath or pool. Has an absolute blast. Nothing but splashing. During bath time when it's time to get out she cries. Quite cute I must say.

Teeth- No teeth just yet. Her poor gums do bother her though. I think they are well on their way.

Talking- Only that cute baby babble. When you get her going, you can't get her to stop. (Remind you of someone?)

What's on the menu?

Anything you would eat but in baby form. She is learning new tastes and textures everyday. She loves green beans and bananas. Also known for picking out the turkey rice dinners when we go down her isle at the store. We tried french toast one morning for breakfast, which was a huge success. I would have to say her most favorite is anything she finds that will fit in her mouth! She wants to eat everything!

Count Down for Courtney

For someone who has been in another country for a good three years, two months couldn't come fast enough. We are truly proud of the difference she made while away in Australia but can not wait the arrival of OUR Courtney.

Mom and I went to visit her in 05. That was a great experience for all of us. We had a wonderful time. Doesn't seem that long ago.

Me and Kanga! Courtney's tiny sink!

At the Zoo.
He was so cuddly.

On the train.

We had so much fun, and wish we could go back. I am just glad we had the chance to go there in the first place.
