Party Fun!

Brooke's Party was a blast!

We had yummy food, great presents and the best birthday girl I could ever ask for. The theme was fairies. I made toadstool cupcakes, and a toadstool smash cake for Brooke.

Uncle Duane and Aunt Maria- Blowing up the new ball pit for the kids!

Cake time! Brooke touched fire for the first time; right before we could blow out the candle! She was stunned, but after I stuck her hand in the frosting she was ok and got right into the cake- literally!

We had a great day- everything was fabulous! Thanks to everyone who came and had a chance to celebrate with us- we couldn't have done it with out you all!

Brooke's October Tricks

Brooke picked up a few more tricks this month.

Spoken words daily!

Hi...... Hi..... Hi..... Hi! Yes, she says hi now over and over and over again!

Uh Oh- Brooke likes this word the best! Playing a game she will drop a toy and say uh oh! It's cute until she drops it the fifteenth time and wants me to give it back to her! Uh Oh is right Brooke, you lost it for good!

Clapping is always fun too! Of course while saying YAY!

She knows where her nose is, where your nose is and where my nose is too!

Brooke is taking a few steps each day! She will get it soon- no need to rush; I can hardly keep up with her as it is now!

October is Ober

All I've got to say is wow! I cannot believe I was so busy in October! What a great month.

Richard had his hands full with the haunted house. building it was a giant order, and then making sure everything was working correctly. I also was there, mostly for support, but there were days I had to work as well.

We had another date night! That was great fun- Ate at a pizza shop downtown, and had a chance to ride on the scooter again!

Last weekend we took a crew to Hunsader Farm. Visited the pumpkin patch, saw the dare devils on their motor bikes doing tricks in the air, and ate A LOT of grub! I had a chance to visit the farmers market, and purchased Indian corn. I will be putting it together to make a Thanksgiving wreath.

Stunts!

The boys were good and took a great picture; Thanks guys!

The weather has been sensational for this time of year in Florida. The windows are open and the breeze is great! We have even had the chance to enjoy a few fires this month.

This year was Brooke's first Halloween, she was a fairy. I made a tutu and bought some wings and voila; the cutest fairy I have ever seen! Mom, Amy, Brooke and I went to the Mall for Mall-O-Ween! It's a great idea the children to go around to the stores to trick-or-treat. Brooke was amazed at everything going on.

We are so excited for November!

Brooke's September

Wow, can you believe an entire month has gone by? Hold on tight because here comes another one.

Brooke has come so far and can now accomplish
-pulling up on everything....
-standing for moments on her own...
-walking with the step stool....
-waving bye-bye, she even understands what 'bye' means too!

The other day we had a misunderstanding. I left the room for a minute to change over the laundry, ( if you have ever been in my house you know I didn't go far and was still in her sight) I said "bye-bye" then waved, and there she sat in the living room crying. It was touching to know she really cares. She is now in the insecure stage; don't leave her alone!

Some September Photos.

Our little blow-up pool- she is going to grow gills!

Drinks, Swings, and Movies

September has already come and gone. I can't believe it is the 23- the time really does fly by if your not careful. I was able to keep from blinking and have great memories for this month. Rick and I had a great date last Thursday. We started out at O'Leary's for you locals; Those of you not so local, it's this small bar and grill that has a tiki attachment outside, with live music right by the waters edge and anchored sail boats. Nice weather, and a great atmosphere! After a drink each, we hopped on the scooter, and trailed to a small Italian Cafe and Market right on Main Street. We had movie tickets for the evening showing, so we ended up driving to South Lido Beach Park, swung some and enjoyed each-others company. Before too long we had to wrap things up and head back to main land for our movie! What a great date.

At the beach park before our movie.

Brooke in August!

Three more months and we will be having our first birthday celebration for Miss. Brooke! I better start planning something.

New in the groove. We have four teeth! Two on top, and two on bottom! And I am proud to announce newly pierced ears. New milestones each day.

What is this little miss eating these days you may wonder? Well anything you put on her tray! Pretty soon we are going to sign her up for FAA. Food Anonymous Addiction classes. All joking aside though, she eats well and this morning going in her room to wake her up, she was more then half of her crib mattress. I was shocked.

Some August bath time pictures.

Play time while Mom cleans the floors!

Hot in August

Rick's birthday came and gone. We had a birthday bash earlier this month. Everything was way fun, and it was nice to celebrate a new year.

Can you believe it has been 8.5 weeks since I started school? It is going by fast, but you'll know how school is, not fast enough. I am getting As in both my classes. I have one more week and I will start another block of two classes. I am really excited for the end result.

Ric n Ash in July.

It's only the ninth, but so much has happened so far. The crash-o-roma was a great success. We all had so much fun. Richard won four races, in his little 4 cylinder car. The 4 and 8 cylinder flag pole race also the 4 and 8 cylinder reverse race! Trophies to prove it!

School is going good for me so far. It is only the second week though. It didn't take me long to get used to the readings either. I just have to tell my self that its all worth it. I cut my hair, its really cute. Tiffany did a great job! Thanks.

Our Fourth was fun. We went to Willie's house. This year he was doing the fireworks, so we didn't bother getting any. Well a small box of those fountains, but that was more for the track the week before.

Courtney will be home soon, which I can not wait for! I have missed her so much these past months. She flies into Sarasota/Bradenton Air port so that's cake. We are all going to see her in! Maybe have a get together too!

It was our friends birthday so we went to Livingston's for that. Which was fun. It was nice to be able to hang out with people we don't always get a chance to see. Rick and I, also had a chance to go on a sunset cruise on the La Barge, which was a new experience for the both of us. It was so nice to have a date night, and be able to watch the sunset. We did forget the camera, but Richard had his camera phone, so we tried.

That sums up or few weeks of July, I'm sure there will be more added soon, it seems like this month is filling in fast.

Some fun pictures for your viewing pleasure!

Mike's birthday party. Amy and I. BFF since 4th grade!

Cheesy people taking their own pictures! Mike and Amy. House mates.

I think she got it in! Yeah, he missed the pocket.
Good times though.
