Take a Bow, Mom.

To me Mother's Day was a day to always honor My Mom. Now that I am a mom myself, it is actually sinking in that its hard work. For those of you who aren't moms let me shed some light. My Mom's work is never done. She STILL is in non-stop mode, always putting every one's needs before her. Everything I know about being a mom comes from her, and I'm so thankful to have such a great role model to teach me the tricks along the way. So thanks mom, truly my hero!

Brooke and I spent the weekend in Orlando, at Disney World's Fort Wilderness Campground. What a treat to be with Mom, Steve and Courtney for a family vacation, on Mother's Day weekend. Richard was booked with Karaoke the whole weekend and committed to filling in for someone at work so he stayed home. It was a blast to watch Brooke loving every bit of camping. Our trip was her first time camping and I must say she's a natural! It must be in her blood.

When we arrived Brooke and I cooled off in the kiddie pool! That was great for Miss B. She was so excited the entire time, squealing and having a blast in water she could actually be in without my hands! FREEDOM! We had a chance to relax and went to bed.

The second day we took our time in getting ready and eating breakfast, it was soon nap time. After Brooke woke up we all headed to Epcot. What fun to see the amazement in Brooke's eyes while seeing the big monuments. Dinner was in Italy which was a bit disappointing. The food was just ok, however the atmosphere made up for it. Our waiter had a thick Italian accent and Brooke was fun to watch flirting with him. We shopped and got great mementos. As the sun went down we sat at a small bistro for pastries in France. Shortly after desert we headed back to the tram and off to bed we went.
Mother's Day morning.

Leaving Sunday afternoon we got home just in time to Meet Richard and Patty at Bob Evens for a nice brunch. We then spent the evening on the parasail boat to watch the sunset. What a nice surprise.
